I have a fleece sweater that I like but is too small for me. I don’t believe in throwing clothes away so I’d like to salvage it by stretching it out. Would anyone have any ideas, tips, or methods in doing this?

I want to get a "fleece" sweater from A&F, but I can’t figure out my size. I’m usually a medium there, but I don’t know if the sleeves run longer than normal clothes. Should I get a small or a medium?
