I want to make a fleece blanket for my niece with purple trim on the edges. How do I sew it on and make it look nice? Do I need to hem the ribbon so it doesn’t fray, or is there something I can use that is already prepared? The shiny ribbon around the edges of some baby blankets is basically what I want to put on my blanket, but I haven’t done anything like this before.
Last year, my fiance made me a double fleece blanket. It is wonderful, and it generally keeps me very warm (I get very cold in the winter). However, it occurred so me that a double fleece blanket would be better with an extra fleece layer. I searched the Internet far and wide, and could not find any plans or ideas on how to create a triple fleece blanket (such a blanket is certainly not available for retail purchase). Does anyone have any ideas on how I could make one?
