I recently changed from Carefresh bedding to fleece because money is really tight right now and Carefresh is expensive. I did my research on fleece (100% polyester) and washed it 3 times before using and did not use fabric softener. My guinea pigs peed on it and it seems to be remaining wet. What, if anything, could I be doing wrong? I’m disappointed because I heard so many good things about this type of bedding.
